کمیته همبستگی با جنبش کارگری ایران - استرالیا در همبستگی با مردم خاورمیانه و مبارزاتشان علیه رژیمهای دیکتاتوری و ارتجاعی منطقه در تظاهرات امروز ٢٦ فوریه ٢٠١١ در تاون هال سیدنی شرکت میکند.
مبارزات توده های محروم و زحمتکش، دانشجویان، بیکاران، زنان، جوانان و کارگران خاورمیانه که در ماههای اخیر درمقیاس وسیعی گسترده تر و به قیام سراسری و برکناری و فرار روسای جمهوری مصر و تونس منجر شد و هنوز نیز در لیبی و بحرین با وجود صدها کشته وزخمی ادامه دارد بار دیگر اتحاد و قدرت تاریخی مردم ستمدیده را نشان داد.
جنبشهای مردمی اخیر حاصل چند دهه ستم واستثمار، فقرگسترده، بیکاری، خفقان سیاسی و سرکوب آزادیها و حقوق دمکراتیک مردم است. دراین میان قدرتهای سرمایه داری جهانی و داخل کشور با اجرای سیاستهای صندوق بین المللی پول و بانک جهانی و تحمیل سه دهه برنامه اقتصادی نئو لیبرالیسم به مردم خاورمیانه ، آفریقا و سایر نقاط موجب فقر و بیکاری، و تعمیق بحران و معضلات اجتماعی در مقیاس وسیع شده اند.
قدرتهای امپریالیستی وسرمایه داری جهانی بسرکردگی آمریکا که فقط برای منافع سیاسی و اقتصادی خویش و درتلاش برای ایجاد وکنترل "خاورمیانه بزرگ" همواره با جنگ افروزی ، کودتا و حمایت از دولتهای ارتجاعی و دیکتاتوری درمنطقه سدی در برابر رشد جنبشهای اجتماعی وتحولات و تغییرات بنیادی دمکراتیک در خاورمیانه ایجاد کرده اند
حالا ولی با احتیاط خواستار حقوق بشر و دمکراسی در این کشورها هستند. بر عموم مردم ستمدیده منطقه و طبقه کارگر اما روشن است که هدف مثل همیشه جابجائی مهره ها و رفرمهای محدود و در نهایت تعیین سرنوشت مردم از بالا جهت حفظ " نظم نوین سرمایه داری" و منافع امپریالیسم جهانی است.
حمایت این قدرتهای جهانی و رسانه هایشان از جناح مخالف پس از انتخابات رئیس جمهوری سال ٢٠٠٩ درایران نمونه روش از این سیاستهاست. انگارازسی سال همراهی اصلاح طلبان با جناح به اصطلاح "اصول گرا" در تحکیم و بقای جمهوری اسلامی و ولایت فقیه ، اجرای دو دهه سیاستهای اقتصادی نئولیبرالیسم و نیز سرکوب خونینجنبشهای اجتماعی و فعالان سیاسی و انقلابی و ابتدائی ترین آزادیهای دمکراتیک وحقوق انسانی مردم ایران خبر نداشته اند. یا اینکه هردوجناح در تلاشی جدی در امر حذف اخیر یارانه شماری از کالاهای اساسی مردم و اجرای اوامر بانک جهانی و صندوق پول بین المللی بوده و هستند و تشدید تضادهای جناحی برسر قدرت است و نه احترام به آزادیها و حقوق دمکراتیک مردم ایران و دیگرنقاط خاورمیانه.
همبستگی قلبی مردم ایران با مردم رنجدیده و مبارز جهان و منجمله خاورمیانه و آگاهی تاریخی آنان ریشه عمیق و طولانی در درد و رنج مشترکی داردکه حاصل چند دهه استثمار و ظلم و سرکوب حکومتهای مستبد و حمایت قدرتهای امپریالیستی جهانی از آنها و دخالت در سرنوشت مردم است. تظاهرات گسترده اخیر در ٢۵ بهمن، رادیکال شدن شعارها و
ادامه حرک در شهرهای مختلف ایران بار دیگر هر دو جناح را غافلگیرکرد و نشان داد که چگونه مردم ایران تغییرکلیت رژیمهای دیکتاتوری را چه در ایران و چه در خاورمیانه وآفریقای شمالی خواهانند.
کمیته همبستگی با جنبش کارگری ایران - استرالیا ضمن ابراز همبستگی خویش، سرکوب خونین مردم خاورمیانه را محکوم میکند. ما امید داریم که کارگران، زحمتکشان، جوانان و زنان خاورمیانه با درس گرفتن از تجربه حکومت اسلامی و انقلاب ١٣۵٧ ایران نگذارند که انقلاب شان زیر عنوان ناسیونالیسم و انقلاب اسلامی و یا دمکراسی تحمیلی از بالا نیمه تمام به بیراهه برود.
دمکراسی و آزادی واقعی و عدالت اجتماعی
در گرو استقلال، تداوم و تعمیق جنبشهای اجتماعی در منطقه، همبستگی جهانی و نقش پیشروی طبقه کارگر در تحولات سیاسی و اجتماعی آینده خاورمیانه و جهان خواهد بود.

In solidarity with the courageous people of the Middle East!
The Solidarity Committee with Iranian Workers’ Movement -Australia is joining the rally today -
26th February 2011-in solidarity with the people of the Middle East and their struggles against the reactionary and despotic regimes of this region.
The mass movements of disadvantaged, students, unemployed, women, youth and workers in the Middle East region in recent months that led to the national uprising and overthrowing of the Egypt and Tunis presidents is now continuing in Yemen, Bahrain and Libya with hundreds of dissidents killed or injured. The popular uprisings sweeping the regions shows once again the historical unity, determination and powerful force of oppressed people.
The rapid progress of the recent social movements is the result of the decades of prolonged oppression and exploitation, extensive poverty and unemployment, political oppression and suppression of freedoms and democratic rights of the people. Together, the global capitalist powers and big businesses at home have brought about deepening social crisis and problems with the implementation of IMF and World Bank policies and imposing the neo-liberal economic programs in the last three decades.
But now, the world capitalist and imperialist powers headed by the US that have only for their own political and economic interests made every effort to control and create a "Great Middle East" and do always impose wars, coups and support reactionary and dictatorial governments while attempting to stop or divert growing social movements and democratic and radical change in the Middle East, are cautiously calling for human rights and democracy in these countries. The public and working class, however, know well, that the aim, as always is to shift powers and make limited reforms, and ultimately to determine the fate of the people for the sake of "new world order".
The support of world powers and their media from the reformist opposition after the 2009 disputed presidential election in Iran is a clear example of this policy. They apparently have no idea of thirty years of joint cooperation of the reformist wing and the so-called "fundamentalist" in the strengthening and survival of the Islamic Republic and the supreme leader, two decades of implementing economic policies of neo-liberalism and the bloody repression of social movements, political activists and revolutionaries and the most basic democratic freedoms and human rights of Iranian people. Or, how both sides have made serious efforts to remove subsidies of the many essential goods and services, and to implement orders of the World Bank and International Monetary Fund, and that intensified factional conflicts are over power and not to respect freedoms and democratic rights of the Iranian and others.
Iranians’ heartfelt solidarity with oppressed and courageous people of the world including the Middle East people and their historical consciousness are rooted in a deep and prolonged common pain that is the result of the decades of exploitation and repression by the despotic powers supported by the imperialist powers and their involvement in deciding for the masses of the region. Recent widespread protests on 25 February and later on with a more radical direction this year has once more shocked the regime as people demand the authoritarian regime in Iran to be ousted as in Middle East and Africa.
While expressing our solidarity, we condemn violent crackdown on dissidents in the Middle East. We hope that the working people, youth and women in the Middle East learn from the experience of Iran’s 1979 revolution and ruling of repressive Islamic regime and don’t let their revolution is stolen or diverted under the so-called nationalism and Islamic Revolution or a democracy imposed from the top.
True democracy and freedom, and social justice will depend on the continuity and deepening of a united independent mass movement in the region, international solidarity and advancing the role of the working class in political and social future of the Middle East and the world at large.
